We build strong, robust identities that are easy to grow over time. While logos are the most visible element of an identity, they represent a small portion of the overall system. Stationery, patterns, graphics, illustration styles and other considerations come into play when developing an identity.

The following list covers our portfolio of identity systems.

Big Ass Dog

Build & Maintain Killer Robots For Fun & Profit

Comma masthead

Hamburgers on Parade

Just Veg

Osaka, Japan brand-character system

Big Ass Dog

Big Ass Dog. Pup chow imported from Texas, large as Hell with an attitude to match. Yeehaawwww!

Pizza Fantastico!

Pizza Fantastico is a Mexican pizza joint that specializes in deadly ninja secrets.

Hamburgers on Parade

Illustrative logo for a low-rent fast food joint in an absurdist play.

Build & Maintain Killer Robots For Fun & Profit

A musical set in the 1950’s workshop of Dr. Frank Brauthaus. Communists have stolen his Fate Control machine and the only way for America to survive is for a civilian-based killer robot army.

Osaka, Japan brand-character system

Osaka is an anthropomorphic screaming bowl of rice and fish, dancing soy sauce, and balls of dough juggling themselves. Less serious than Tokyo and fully embracing the quirk of Japanese society, Osaka positions itself as the ultimate destination for cartoon-like vacations.

Pop Culture Tragedy

(Quick note: This is the correct logo orientation). Pop Culture Tragedy is a web comic following the life and love affairs of a geeky programmer in Las Vegas.

Quack!

The 1st Annual Quebec Universities English Undergraduate Conference (QUEUC, or as we called it internally, Quack!), is a conference for English Literature students in Canada. We were given the opportunity to play off of the pun in the name and, well, we took it. We loved it, the QUEUC council loved it and the students loved it.

Just Veg

Just Veg makes high quality vegetarian and vegan soups. Local and delicious!

Domino concept logo

Witty copy and hip, retro iconography are designed to appeal to equally hip 20- and 30-somethings that craft, knit and build things themselves. The logotype looks to Googie architecture (think: Jetsons) and Streamline Moderne typography.

Comma masthead

Comma is a small magazine designed around coffee breaks. Authors explore short stories around mundane objects in fantastical settings, such as the world through a paper clip. That is twenty seven feet tall.

We're located in Chicago.
